Does this also count? It's for Kevin Smith's new Clerks2 but it does have Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez talking about stuff.

Apparently its not the Grindhouse anymore. It's just Grind. The turn around from beginning production to finished product means its probably shot completely on HD.
Very disappointing title
Very disappointing title change. Wasn't there a skater movie called Grind? I heard it was pretty lame. But still, I'm sure it will be kool. Lets hope they treat the HD so it feels like a Grindhouse movie. I was a little nervous after I heard that they were going digital for such a filmic project. Crossing fingers!

Apparently QT is going to make a fake trailer for a film titled "Cowgirls in Sweden". That covers the sexploitation trailer. I wonder if that means Robert will be shooting a blacksploitation trailer or a chop socky trailer. My money is on the chop socky for Robert and Quentin will be making the blackspoitation.
Boss Nigger 2. YEAH! Go
Boss Nigger 2. YEAH! Go Quentin! Put Fred Williamson in it too! I hope you read this Tarantino!
A few kids in my class met
A few kids in my class met Tarantino a few times a couple of weeks back. I know you guys would love meeting him. Oh and also, I saw Johnny Depp when I first moved out here to Los Angeles. I love him, he will never know.
Really?? Kool! If you meet
Really?? Kool! If you meet him, let him know to give Mike Nelson a call. I'd honestly just want to talk movies with him. See ya Mongolia.
He might just call Mike
He might just call Mike Nelson from MST3K so you best be sure he's got the proper contact information.

From Bloody-disgusting.com:
One of regular (and most reliable) scoopers dropped us a line this afternoon with some depressing news. According to our source Robert Rodriquez's "Project Terror" was officially shut down for good as of yesterday- the crew was let go and everything. It may gear up again next year, but who knows. Until then, there's no word on the fate of Tarantino's "Death Proof", which is scheduled to shoot in LA this summer. WeinsteinCo.'s Grind House double feature was scheduled to hit theaters December 1st, but it looks like we may be waiting until next year- but who knows maybe they'll pull a "Kill Bill" and 'Project Terror' will end up being a Volume 2 so to speak. Watch for an official statement in the coming weeks for official word. Rodriguez's part, "Project Terror," will be a zombie pic, while Tarantino's section, "Death Proof," will a slasher seg.
That ticks me off man.
That ticks me off man. Although this gives us a little breathing room for our culty little film "Summer School" with its slight grindhouse genre auora. Even though we came up with our idea first, we won't be called copy cats, which we probably will anyway considering people will probably look at our film and say, "hey their trying to do a tarantino thing like Grind House. Idiots." Idiots. If they only knew, we don't copy things we just make what we like. Beside the point, I wonder why everything got dropped? Weird..
Sheeeit Mike... whoever
Sheeeit Mike... whoever thinks we are copying Tarantino has to either be competely stupid or they're being extremely nice. We don't have trailers cutting up two films, no killer car, no zombies. The only thing thats even remotely close in vibe is the opening credits and thats about it. So take it down a notch killer.
I have no idea why things were shutdown but hopefully it gets rolling again soon. I would really like to this project get finished. Its just such a cool idea.
I guess it's just the vibe
I guess it's just the vibe of what we're doing that people would make a connection. That's all. That fact that we are touching that grindhouse genre style. You know people these days. Always an excuse to bring ya down.
Tarantino to direct Jimi
Tarantino to direct Jimi Hendrix biopic? WHAT! Where the &@&$## is GRINDHOUSE!!!
Right there brother

Right there brother trucker! This apparently the script COVER for QT's grindhouse piece. How badass oldschool grindhouse is that?!

Not just one Grindhouse but possibly two!
Well some more Grindhouse
Well some more Grindhouse info. Tarantino shooting on real Film not HD. Scripts are 110 pages and 130 pages. Means that they are both FULL MOVIES so you get a real double feature. Apparently Robert's footage shown at the Comicon was water damaged, badly spliced and had audio pops in the soundtrack. Awesome.
