Well Mike apparently you weren't the only person who didn't like the twist ending to High Tension.

Alexander Aja, the director/writer, didn't even want it to end that way. That's actually kind of sad. The concept he talks about that was in the original script would have had such a better impact and made High Tension that much closer to perfection.
