If you haven't already checked the Vidcast review on this film... it's probably one of the best horror films in the last 6 years. AND it's getting an American release in a few months.

Go see it in theatres when it comes out. It's worth it. Even after seeing an imported DVD I'll be seeing The Descent opening night.

It is odd the "american" ending is just cutting the ending short by 2 minutes. Neil Marshal apparently wanted to try the new ending and it wasn't a studio forced option. I personally prefer the original and hope the american DVD release will have an option for both.
Awesome on a giant screen... gotta break ground on the Random Creatureface Theatre someday soon :P

No problems! That poster
No problems! That poster kicks! I'm convinced they couldn't do anything to ruin this film, unless they promote it like The Cave...They won't Neil Marshall is smart. HEck and even if they did promote it like The Cave, they still couldn't make it look that bad, because nothing about this film is ultimately bad. It's frikin sensual baby! I love it. Girls, Caves, Blood, Monsters.
