Right now, I am giving him the benefit of the doubt. WHY? Because the Michael Meyers franchise is dead. I suppose you could make the point and say that it should stay dead and just STOP! But, if I had to choose someone to do this, Zombie would be top on the list (along with Aja). I'm curious to see if he is going to write it or not. I am hoping he works with a screenwriter. I want to see Zombie tackle someone elses writing with HIS vision. I wonder if he will take a slightly twisted attempt on John Carpenters original, or do something ENTIRELY different? I guess we'll see... Better him than that guy who remade THE FOG or McG.
