Summer School Updates

Mike and I spent the better portion of last night trimming the fat on the Summer School edit and getting it prepped for the next screening. I'm still working on the FX post, Mike is slapping the sound around and Lance is jumping the hoops to get a real screening possibly in a local theatre.

From now on I'm just going to dump the latests news for Summer School into here. Feel free to post comments and questions.

For whatever reason I decided to enter the 7th level of hell and setup a myspace account for Random Creatureface Films. If you have a strong constitution or have been hiding the secret shame of your own myspace account its right here:

Just for the curious parties

Just for the curious parties planning to attend on the 2nd.
Summer School, if it was rated by the MPAA would probably be a hard R. There is no nudity within the film but there is plenty of profanity and gore. Don't bring your babies to this one.

And the grass roots pimping

And the grass roots pimping begins. Mike made us up some sweet little promo posters and we'll be running around St. Patty's day slamming these things up around the Twin Cities. If you see one, I know they look sweet and all but, don't tear it down. Stand by it nodding your and speaking very loudly so all around you can hear, "Three dollars is a damn fine price for that level of entertainment. Why I'd be a complete fool to pass this rare feast for the senses. A complete fool indeed." Then laugh like a hyena and run of screaming. The bigger the public spectacle the better.
OR
Just, ya know, tell your friends about it.

For you more adventurous types you can email Mike (mike@randomcreatureface.com)and he'll send you a pdf of the posters. You can print out a bunch and hand them out to your buds, wallpaper your room with them, make a really bitchin pirate hat, or attend the screening wearing a fine three piece suit made entirely of promo posters. You'd be all the rage this season.

Kiss me I'm randomly creaturefaced!

Holy Crap is that super

Holy Crap is that super inaccurate but awesome.

It seems to have merged our film with the remake of the 80's comedy. I sure don't remember any of these guys helping out:

Jordan Kerner .... producer
Paul Neesan .... executive producer

Writing credits (in alphabetical order)
Kyle Pennekamp
Scott Turpel

Oh well we can clear that up later.

Lance, Steve and I went to

Lance, Steve and I went to the Fangoria Weekend of Horror in Chicago and came back with one hell of a quote for Summer School. Check it out.
Mr. Troma himself, Lloyd Kaufman, Steve, me, and some random Troma teamsters (check out my hand. Ha!):

Here's the awesome quote:
