Pathfinder

Let me start off by saying that i have been looking forward to this film for a long time. I didn't have unreasonable expectations for this movie by any means, i was just looking for a stupid action film. the ratings explaination even says "extreme and graphic violence throughout". this flick is anything but. the film blows harder that katrina. lets just start off by saying i held out hope for this film for the first 45 minutes and it never picked up. the whole film is just gray and ugly. even in the happy parts the colors are still drap and depressing. you mix that with bad pacing and ridiculous so called action sequences that fail to inspire and you get one wholly disappointing film experiance. it starts slow and never picks up, none of the action sequences ever build to any climax, just like the film, and they are all shot muddy and dis-jointed so it doesn't make any sense or even look good. this film is an utter failure in every sense of the word, it follows no linear story arc and none of characters really have any good motivation. i place blame for this flaming pile of crap solely on the writer and director, the actors did what they could with the shit they were served so i can't blame them. DON'T go see this film, DON'T rent this film, DON'T watch it when they show it on spike. Save yourself the psychic damage this film will inflict, i didn't even pay for this film and i want my money back.
