A disk containing the memoirs of a CIA agent ends up in the hands of two unscrupulous gym employees who attempt to benefit from the discovery.
Boring. Uneventful. Uninteresting. The film felt sloppy and rushed. Malkovich and Pitt were a lot of fun to watch, as was J.K. Simmons, and a few scenes stood out as funny and satirical (not to mention surprising...). For the most part, this film didn't get started till the last 30 minutes. It's not that I mind when there is nothing happening in a movie. It's the difference between if that "nothing" is interesting or not. Overall, nothing interested me. Not to mention, most of humor felt like an inside joke and was asking myself, "Should I be laughing now?" Overall, a very dry and rushed Coen Brother's film without the wit and creativity of their other brilliant works. But hey, the poster is great; an homage to the arty and beautiful posters of the sixties. (Vertigo/Man with the Golden Arm)
