So I was just wondering what you guys thought of this flick, I finally got around to watching it the other day, and my feelings were mixed in some ways like suspense it did a good job. I cared for the characters, the killers were creepy and the setting was great. The thing that got to me was the two main characters and there lack of realism.
I wouldn't leave my fiance in a house with killers while I take the shotgun. They couldve at elast stuck together.

To be honest, I haven't been watching too much horror. The last thing I saw horror-ish was The Orphanage and that was actually really good. Solid ya know. I watched Boss Nigger and that was really good. We'll have a vidcast review of that soon. Last thing I saw in the theater was Valkrie and it was pretty good. Could have been better but I was entertained ya know. Still I loved The Friends of Eddie Coyle and America Hot Wax...both non horror but both very good films!!!!
Personally, I loved it. Totally freaked me out... but that's also because my roomie and I had it all set up. (dark as hell... us alone in the dorm... lights out. Whole nine yards.) It didn't help that half way through the movie, our other roomie, Katie, came knocking on the window. Totally made us jump and scream...
The killers were freaky as hell, I hated those masks. >.<
I was happy that two teens weren't the main characters, that totally made my day. I also liked that the movie seemed to be influenced by the older horror films which was a nice change of pace.
But yeah, I liked it. Just watched it thanks to Circuit City going out of business, so I was able to buy it uber cheap. XP
